Katrina Kaif declined Ranbir Kapoor’s marriage proposal?
Mumbai: Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor aren’t really Bollywood’s
official “happening couple” but the two have often been spotted together
at various social dos.
However, after images of their Spanish
holiday surfaced, the actors who were initially miffed with the media,
made candid statements about the same, later on.
But the two have
maintained stoic silence about their relationship status and have
decided not to discuss their private lives in public.
If the
latest buzz is anything to go by, then career oriented Katrina wants to
focus on her work and is not thinking of taking the marital plunge in
the near future. And Ranbir is believed to have proposed to her.
So, it is being speculated that the lady isn’t keen to enter matrimony.
Ranbir in one of his earlier interviews had stated that he had set 28 as the age to get married. But he is past the cut-off age.
Will
2014 see wedding bells ringing for this beautiful couple? Or is
marriage still a distant dream for them? Let’s wait and watch.
Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Sonakshi Sinha: Who was the biggest entertainer of 2013? Vote!
This year saw B-town heroines give the Khans tough competition… and we totally loved it!
Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif have something in common: these two
B-town beauties proved that they are no less than Bollywood’s Khans.
Matching the levels of Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan, Dippy
delivered back-to-back hits with
Race 2, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Chennai Express and
Goliyon ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and
featured with some of the most sought actors in tinseltown. She also
took home a lot of Rs 100 crore pies from the box office.
Katrina Kaif’s aerial acts and stunning looks gave
takkar to the Perfectionist Khan in
Dhoom:3 and despite just one release this year, she managed to grab headlines thanks to holiday pictures of her in a bikini with beau
Ranbir Kapoor for company.
The year also had an ample dose of Shotgun Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter
Sonakshi Sinha, who had four big releases –
Lootera, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara, Bullett Rajaj and
R…Rajkumar. We must say that Sona impressed us with her act in
Lootera, but the other films she was part of were ignorable, even while
R…Rajkumar with ‘good friend’ Shahid Kapoor did decent business at the box office.
Priyanka Chopra may be singing an
Exotic song and feeling that way, but our heroine turned popstar’s acting didn’t score very high in 2013. While
Krrish 3
created box office records, we didn’t think that she lived up to her
‘act in actor’ that she talked of on Karan Johar’s popular chat show
Koffee With Karan in Season 3. To add to her dud performances, she had the
Zanjeer remake with southern star Ram Charan Teja. And Pinky failed to get
paisa or appreciation from critics or fans for her item turns – no, not even as
badmaash Babli in Shootout At Wadala.
PeeCee’s cousin
Parineeti did a fair job in
Shudh Desi Romance. We simply love this gal, a natural as far as acting is concerned,
hai na? This year also proved lucky for Bollywood’s fashionista Sonam Kapoor. Sonam had two hits this year –
Raanjhanaa and
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag;
while her appearance in the second can be considered a cameo, the
Kapoor gal celebrated her long awaited success at the box office.
Vidya Balan Roy Kapur and Kareena Kapoor Khan have both impressed us with their talent, but this year Ms Balan’s
Ghanchakkar made our heads reel more with confusion than excitement and even Kareena couldn’t save a dud like
Gori Tere Pyar Mein with Imran Khan.
BollywoodLifers, who did the year 2013 belong to?
The 3rd BollywoodLife Awards 2013: Katrina Kaif beats Anushka Sharma and Ekta Kapoor to bag the ‘Worst Peek-a-Boo Moment’ crown!
The Dhoom:3 babe can now celebrate her film’s success, another holiday with beau Ranbir Kapoor and a genuine award…. finally!
Katrina Kaif emerged as the clear winner in the 3rd BollywoodLife
Awards 2013 ‘Worst Peek-a-Boo Moment’ category. This is as coveted an
award as any the lady has received so far, be it as sexiest actor or
entertainer of the year, each custom made for the Bollywood diva. Here
it’s genuine BL readers and B-town fans who vote diligently, which makes
this an authentic award, so what if it’s a little wacky? Our readers
love them!
Katrina’s
little pink dress had everyone amused; she looked pretty and we finally
knew why Mattel chose her as the Barbie brand ambassador. But Kat could
never have expected that her LPD (little pink dress) would be an
embarrassment on the stage. Even her co-star Aamir Khan had to bend to
find out what was troubling his heroine…or was he sneaking a nice peek
at the bright pink underpinnings? And our voters were sure that KK
deserved the prize!
While the
Bang Bang heroine bagged 30 percent votes,
following her closely with 27 votes is tellyland’s czarina Ekta Kapoor.
We aren’t really surprised, because Ekta manages to shock us every time
we see her, with her fashion faux pas. The
Aashiqui 2 actor
Shraddha Kapoor beat Ameesha Patel to bag the third spot. Shraddha, who
bagged 15 percent votes, might think twice before stepping out in an LBD
again. As for Ameesha who got 11 percent votes, we suggest she find a
good stylist who can make sure that the gal has her bosom covered
properly and comfortably.
Anushka Sharma’s ‘oops’ moment stood fifth with 7 percent votes, while
Parineeti’s disastrous time on
Comedy Nights with Kapil got 6 percent votes from BL readers. The
Vicky Donor actor Yami Gautam got a mere 4 percent votes and stood last on this list.

Coming from a family that never had that kind of money, initially, it was important. Financial security is crucial for your family
and I have a large family. Money does matter when you don’t have it.
When you need it, you realise the value of it. In that sense, money will
always have value.
Have you ever stopped yourself from buying anything because it was too expensive? I’m not a big spender or shopper. Neither am I extravagant nor do I have big expenses. I mainly spend on
travel.
I don’t buy overpriced clothes as I feel such expenses are unnecessary.
I probably wouldn’t buy expensive watches or jewellery either.
You have stylists for work-related attire. What do you personally shop for? Personally,
I’m a simple dresser. I usually buy my own clothes. Jeans, T-shirts,
summer dresses and track pants. Whenever I get the time or see a shop
that catches my fancy, I buy something.
What does power mean to you? The
luxury to be able to have choices — whether it’s selecting your work,
the ads or the shows you want to be part of or choosing what to do in
life. It also means having people listen to you and your voice having an
impact.

The year gone by was high on drama as far as Bollywood celebrities were concerned. As we gear up for a dhamakedaar 2014, let’s take a look at the celebs who ruled BollywoodLife website in 2013
For Bollywood, 2013 ended on a high note thanks to
Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif’s
Dhoom:3, which is re-writing box office records. While this Yash Raj Film literally created
dhoom,
there were several B-townies who not only managed to make a noise and
find space on Bollywoodlife, but also became the top newsmakers of the
year. Read on to know which celeb stories spiced up our website, made
waves and grabbed the maximum attention in 2013…
Savita Bhabhi – Believe it or not, the movie
review
of India’s first animated porn film got the highest views in 2013. We
know it’s all about dirty tricks, but that’s what our readers like,
hai na? Or else why would it be on top of our list?
Katrina Kaif’s bikini pictures – The
Dhoom:3
babe’s beach frolic earned Ms Kaif second position on our list of top
10 newsmakers of 2013. Not surprising to us, considering Kat and Ranbir
Kapoor’s not-so-secret Spanish holiday became a national debate.
Sherlyn Chopra – We would have been really
disappointed if this babe hadn’t made it to our list. After all, she
tried every trick to hog limelight and actually succeeded. Ms Chopra’s
nude
photos for Playboy magazine and her bare-it-all stint with a horse
earned her the third spot on our list. Now that’s even better than
winning an award, wethinks!
Priyanka Chopra – No matter what you say about the
Exotic babe, she manages to grab eyeballs instantly. Our style piece on ‘The
Sexiest Back
in Bollywood’ was a blockbuster. PC received maximum votes and won the
poll. Not-so-lucky contenders who lost out to Priyanka were Kareena
Kapoor Khan, Anushka Sharma and Sunny Leone.
Headline hogs: Fifth on our list is ‘Who made the steamiest news of the year’ story. Again, not a surprise, considering
Poonam Pandey,
Sherlyn Chopra, Sunny Leone and Savita Bhabhi were talked about. They
indeed deserve to be crowned the Noisemakers of 2013, no?
Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Roshan’s separation
– Though this news broke just a few weeks ago, it rocked the entire
nation and became one of the biggest news pieces of 2013. Will there be a
reconciliation? Or a divorce? That is going to make news…again!
Dhoom:3 quick review – If there is one film that everybody eagerly waited for in 2013, it was Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif’s
Dhoom:3. So it was natural that readers jumped in to read the quick review of the film as soon as we posted it on our BollywoodLife.
Bigg Boss 7 contestant list – Every year fans want to know who is going to be locked up inside the madcap house of
Bigg Boss. And that’s the reason why our story on the ‘Bigg Boss 7 contestant list’ made it to the top ten newsmakers of 2013.
Krrish 3 song Raghupati raghav – This song
from Hrithik’s superhero film was a huge hit and it caught our readers’
attention as well. Did it help the film? The jury is still out on that
one…
Sunny Leone – Sunny’s latest film
Jackpot may have failed at the box office, but the
trailer
did quite well on our site. Was it because people expected to see a lot
of the adult film star…didn’t they get what they wanted as she seduced
Sachiin Joshi?
